A pro wrestler's life is always under intense public scrutiny, especially if you're WWE legend Ric Flair, who recently announced his divorce. Teddy Long reacted to the news and seemed unbothered by his former WWE colleague.

Ric Flair was last seen in All Elite Wrestling, where he didn't make many TV appearances and was mostly remembered for accompanying Sting during the latter's retirement storyline.

In September, Flair took to social media to confirm he and Wendy Barlow were ending their marriage after six years. While the couple had known each other for over a decade, Ric Flair explained they were working on different projects, preventing them from giving each other enough time.

Teddy Long was asked for his reaction to Ric Flair's latest divorce, and the WWE Hall of Famer initially said he couldn't care less, as you can view below:

"Well, I don't know why, like I said, it's not going to ruin my night. I could care less. But, with him, I have no comment." [5:40 - 5:51]

Teddy Long took another dig at Ric Flair, seemingly acknowledging his reputation in the business:

"She is probably like a lot of us; she has had enough," added the former SmackDown General Manager. [6:02 - 6:05]

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long wishes Ric Flair well but says: "I know when to take the tape off"

With his last big-time wrestling appearance for AEW, Ric Flair still manages to keep himself in the wrestling spotlight. He even returned to the ring for his final match in 2022, winning a tag team contest against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal alongside his son-in-law, Andrade.

Besides pro wrestling, Ric Flair also endorses multiple products and is undeniably a pop culture icon. Flair is 75 but seemingly still lives his wrestling character, and Teddy Long admitted he was curious about the Nature Boy's lifestyle.

While Long hoped Flair got god's blessings, the former manager was not in favor of the former WWE World Champion's reluctance to stay away from the wrestling ring:

"Well, what is his lifestyle 24 hours a day? That's what I would like to know. My thing is like this, man; God Bless and all I can say is I know when to take the tape off." [From 6:55 onwards]

Ric Flair reportedly ended his AEW run in July 2024, and as things stand, he has not appeared for a major wrestling company ever since.
