Spoiler: Popular WWE duo unveils new name on SmackDown

This week on WWE SmackDown Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews were in action against Legado Del Fantasma, but it was just Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo who stepped up to represent the group.

This was the first time that the duo was being referred to as Los Garza, something that they had been teasing for several weeks. Following the victory after a successful execution of their new MTY finisher, Michael Cole announced Angel and Berto as the winners by using their new tag team name. It seems like this situation is now similar to Damage CTRL.

Damage CTRL is a group of four that also includes The Kabuki Warriors. When Asuka and Kairi Sane wrestle as a duo they are referred to by the aforementioned name. Of course, Angel and Humberto are real-life cousins and share the Garza name, which is likely why the update has been made to their tag team name.

This change isn't expected to create any differences in Legado Del Fantasma who have been stepping up their game in recent weeks. The heel faction might also set their sight on the Tag Team Championships in the near future.

Of course, the tag titles are currently under the possession of The Bloodline, who are unstoppable on WWE SmackDown at present.
