Another SmackDown episode is in the books, and WWE continues to build its biggest angle, heading into Bad Blood. Vince Russo, however, is tired of the repetitive nature of the story and the dependence on familiar faces.

While a lot happened in last night's episode of SmackDown, WWE primarily focused on the growing tensions between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes.

KO and Randy Orton took on Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa in a tag team match, and Owens specifically told Rhodes not to come out to help. The American Nightmare couldn't stop himself during the main event and showed up to attack the heels, much to The Prizefighter's displeasure.

The Viper eventually ensured peace between the stars as Owens and Cody hugged as Friday Night SmackDown went off the air.

During the post-show review on BroDown, Vince Russo called out WWE for dragging out stories and explained his point with an interesting analogy.

"Bro, my biggest problem with the WWE, and it's because of a lack of creativity. Bro, they just drag things on forever, man. If any of you had a hamster when you were a kid, bro, remember you put the hamster in the cage, and the hamster goes in the wheel, and the wheel goes round and round; that's how WWE TV is!" he said. Russo noticed similar patterns in SmackDown's most significant story and noted that the same players were repeating moments since WrestleMania XL.

"It never goes anywhere, bro; it's rinse, wash, and repeat. They have been doing the same thing, bro; with these players and The Bloodline and Orton, they have been doing the same thing now. Since when? WrestleMania?" he added. [23:40-24:00]

Cody Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood has created some issues between the babyfaces, and it seems like a turn, either from Owens or Orton, could happen soon.
