A former WWE star took a shot at Bayley following a dangerous spot at Bad Blood during her match against Nia Jax. Stevie Richards was very critical of the two stars trying to pull off a hurricanrana despite their size difference and importance to the psychology of the match.

At one point during their match at Bad Blood, Bayley had Jax in the powerbomb position. The reigning WWE Women's Champion reversed into a hurricanrana, avoiding any disastrous injuries.

On the latest episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the former Blue World Order member took a subtle shot at Bayley for still selling the botched hurricanrana rather than improvising. Richards felt that it would have been better if The Role Model made the adjustment after the move and mocked her rival.

"I would have rather Bayley just literally let Nia take her bump and shook her head like, 'No no no. You're not going to do that.' The old (Dikembe) Mutombo (finger wag) rest in peace. … This is where even what seemingly is the most experienced WWE main roster people today in 2024, they still show a level of independent wrestling greenness and inexperience to think, 'Well, she didn't get me but let me take my own bump.' And she sells like she got 'hurricanrana-ed'. It's really just sad because these girls work their asses off and unfortunately, what are they going to be remembered for in this match? This spot," Richards said. [3:33 - 4:21]

While the match will be remembered for the hurricanrana spot, the two superstars still did their best to follow up the Hell in a Cell. It was a rough spot on the card, but they managed to get talked about.

Stevie Richards on why Nia Jax should have never tried the hurricanrana on Bayley

In the same episode of The Stevie Richards Show, the former WWE star explained why Nia Jax should not be using high-risk moves like the hurricanrana. Richards believes that certain stars can pull off that move without risking any injuries or damage to the psychology of the match.

"You're a heel. They're supposed to hate you. Why are you doing impressive wrestling moves? (It's) a waste, psychology-wise. It was a waste just in general because you had people that could do these moves, so why are you doing something that someone else can do better? And then that's not your signature move that you should be doing," Richards said. [6:50 - 7:15]

Richards suggested that Jax should not try to do moves like the hurricanrana because it's not the right way to get her over as a top heel.
