WWE Superstar Sheamus went down in a tough loss on this week's Monday Night RAW, but the veteran isn't dwelling on it. The former World Champion took to social media with a hilarious message about his finisher on Ilja Dragunov.

The Celtic Warrior faced Drew McIntyre and Dragunov in a men's Money in the Bank qualifying match. In the closing moments, The Mad Dragon launched himself from the top rope, but Sheamus countered with a Brogue Kick in mid-air. The kick, while intended for the 30-year-old's chest, landed questionably low.

Finally, McIntyre defeated the two WWE Superstars to secure his place in the MITB ladder match. Some fans on the internet argued about the 46-year-old veteran's kick on Ilja Dragunov after the July 1 installment of the Red brand show.

On X (formerly Twitter), Sheamus addressed his unfortunate finisher on The Mad Dragon with a humorous message:

"his ⚽️⚽️ landed in the nosebleeds," he wrote.

Drew McIntyre names Sheamus as the hardest-hitting WWE Superstar

The Celtic Warrior completed 15 years in World Wrestling Entertainment and has won several championships. The company recently dropped a video on social media asking WWE Superstars what it's like to share the ring with Sheamus.

During the conversation, Drew McIntyre revealed that taking strikes and punches for Sheamus is absolutely deadly:

"Number one, absolutely. No question about it. He is the hardest-hitting professional wrestler in the history of potentially professional wrestling. Deadly punches, deadly forearms, I've taken all those strikes and overall, Sheamus is number one," he said.

The Celtic Warrior is only one championship away from becoming a Grand Slam Champion in WWE; he has yet to win the Intercontinental Title. The 46-year-old failed to capture the IC Title from Gunther at WrestleMania 39. Only time will tell what the future holds for the former King of the Ring in the Stamford-based promotion.
