WWE Superstar Sheamus has jokingly responded to Michael Cole's bizarre statement on Monday Night RAW. The multi-time World Champion took to social media and set the record straight about his status following his latest match.

On the June 17, 2024, edition of RAW, The Celtic Warrior faced Bron Breakker in singles competition. The match was announced after Breakker and the 46-year-old star engaged in a verbal altercation while demanding a shot at Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship.

The former NXT Champion and Sheamus locked horns in a hard-fought contest. At one point during the bout, Breakker leaped from the apron and took out the former WWE Champion, sending him over the announcer's desk.

While addressing the spot, Michael Cole overemphasized it and said, "Sheamus may be dead." Following the show, The Celtic Warrior took to X (formerly Twitter) and sent a message to the WWE Universe, debunking the 55-year-old veteran commentator's statement.

"Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated," he wrote.

The match ended via DQ due to interference from Ludwig Kaiser. The Imperium member later attempted to take out The Celtic Warrior but was intercepted by a vicious Spear from Bron Breakker.

Vince Russo says WWE needs to choose a direction for Ludwig Kaiser after his win over Sheamus

On the June 3 edition of Monday Night RAW, Ludwig Kaiser went head-to-head with the Irishman inside the squared circle. The match saw the 33-year-old star secure a big win over The Celtic Warrior.

On an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo noted that WWE creative must have a proper direction for Kaiser. The former writer believed the Imperium member should be more than Gunther's mouthpiece on TV.

"That's why we were talking about it a couple of weeks ago when they should have separated both Kaiser and the other dude [Giovanni Vinci] from Gunther. We talked about it weeks ago. I have no idea, bro. Is he Gunther's sidekick who introduces him or a wrestler? Pick it," Russo said.
