NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez recently took to her social media account and shared a message after being attacked on WWE NXT. She was assaulted by Lola Vice.

Roxanne Perez locked horns with Karmen Petrovic on the latest edition of WWE NXT. Petrovic initially had the upper hand in the contest, but the champion quickly turned things around. The 22-year-old finally defeated her opponent by delivering a Pop Rox. Following the match, Lola Vice attacked Perez and 'stole' her title.

Vice later approached NXT general manager Ava, asking the latter to book her in a championship match against Perez at Heatwave 2024.

On Instagram, Perez posted a picture of the NXT Women's Championship and seemingly claimed that she would remain champion, regardless of the threat from Lola Vice.

"Shhhh it’s ok, mommy’s got you," she wrote in the post's caption.

Roxanne Perez disclosed valuable advice she received from CM Punk

NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez seemingly shares a close relationship with CM Punk outside the ring. The two often share pictures with each other on their social media handles.

In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Perez revealed that Punk recently asked her to pay less attention to fans' opinions on social media applications and focus on becoming a better performer.

"I'm like, I'm scrolling on Twitter, and he like leans back, and he sees what I'm doing on my phone, and he goes, 'Stop looking at that. Stop looking at that. It doesn't matter what they say. It doesn't matter if they love you. It doesn't matter if they hate you. You keep on going out there and doing what you do and proving to everyone why you are in this. You are in the spot that you are in."

Perez added how The Second City Saint's advice changed her perspective. She further praised the veteran for guiding her in difficult situations.

"That literally was just like very eye-opening, especially coming from someone like him that has done so much in the wrestling business. Clearly, he doesn't give a da*n about what anybody thinks about him. At 22 years old, it's obviously a little hard to not, like, kind of social media is everything for us, right? I have him to be able to give me that advice and steer me in the right direction."

It will be interesting to see whether Perez can defeat Vice at Heatwave and continue her dominant NXT Women's Championship reign.
