Roxanne Perez addressed her previous issues with her friend from years ago this week on WWE NXT. She was then interrupted by the star who returned just last week.
Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade, the star in question, were best friends and even tag team partners for a while before the latter turned on the former. This kickstarted a heated rivalry that made headlines. However, it now looks like the two women are no longer enemies.
Last week on NXT, Roxanne defended her title against Giulia. During the match, Cora Jade made her return and attacked the challenger, helping Perez pick up the win.
Tonight on WWE NXT, Roxanne addressed what happened last week and stated that an old friendship was starting to re-ignite. Just then, Cora came out and said that people seemed to forget about her after she got injured nine months ago, which made her angry. She also said that Perez didn't know she was going to show up and help her out.
Cora Jade then said that Perez deserved to be the NXT Women's Champion and the fact that their friendship has now been mended spells bad news for the women's division. Roxanne Perez also said that she should've listened to her friend years ago instead of listening to fans.
It will be interesting to see Roxanne and Cora Jade team up together again after all these years.
