Roman Reigns has not been seen in action since his defeat at WWE WrestleMania XL Night Two. Meanwhile, a Hall of Famer believes Reigns should be booked to return as a babyface. The name being discussed is Teddy Long.

Following WrestleMania, The Bloodline has entered a new phase, with Solo Sikoa becoming the faction's leader in Reigns' absence. While the group has been booked in prominent angles, it has arguably lost some momentum in recent weeks. This has led many to question when The Tribal Chief will make his much-awaited comeback.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long said he was all for Roman Reigns returning to action, but as a fan favorite.

"I like the idea, though, Mac, I think Roman, he needs to come back as a babyface. That can't be just one [appearance]. He has to get a little bit of a run out of it (...) The only way that really will become believable, and work, is you have to drop [Paul] Heyman." [8:29 onwards]

Bill Apter is not pleased with how WWE is handling the new Bloodline members

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa have been presented as ruthless assailants since they arrived in WWE. However, Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter believes that recent booking decisions have made the duo look weak.

On the same episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Apter said the following about The Bloodline tandem's booking:

"This goes right back to what I was saying about Bron Breakker. The other guys, Haku's sons, who are in the videos, the pre-videos, are made to be killers and monsters. It's not happening. They are taking beatings in the matches (...) It's being fifty-fifty to be fair to everybody, but you can't create an amazing killer heel by having him or them be backed up so often." [6:44 onwards]

As of now, only time will tell how the new Bloodline will be booked in WWE heading into premium live events like Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.
