Ridge Holland brutally takes out WWE star; 34-year-old possibly seriously injured as ringside talent in tears

This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw Ridge Holland brutally lay waste to a 34-year-old star. The former NXT Tag Team Champion didn’t stop his assault despite winning the match. The man in question is Duke Hudson whose battered body led Thea Hail to tears.

The MVP fought Holland in a singles match to get revenge for the latter’s treachery against Chase University. Notably, Ridge Holland turned on Andre Chase after losing the tag titles he believed he was solely responsible for winning. While Duke Hudson had entered the match with a mission, he failed to overcome his former ally.

Despite securing a dominant victory over his opponent, Holland continued to punish Hudson. The vicious punishment continued at ringside where the former Chase U member threw The MVP into the barricade, resulting in a block coming off. Thea Hail, who always took Holland’s side in the faction watched in horror as he proceeded to use the barricade block to attack Hudson.

Hail screamed and cried for her former ally to stop the madness and let The MVP go. However, the former Chase U member didn’t show any mercy to Duke Hudson and planted him into the barricade.

With this, Ridge Holland has now made his feud with his former faction more personal. Notably, Andre Chase was already hospitalized because of his assault and it seems Hudson may also need hospitalization following this brutal wipeout. It would be interesting to see what lies next in this freshly developed enmity.
