Ricochet parted ways with WWE last month after being with the Stamford-based company for over six years. The former Intercontinental Champion recently shared a social media update praising Damage CTRL's IYO SKY.

The former Women's Champion is regarded by many as one of the best in-ring performers on the wrestling promotion's female roster. The Genius of the SKY has been involved in several memorable spots over the years, executing insane high-flying moves.

An X(fka Twitter) user recently replied to Ricochet's post appreciating Kelani Jordan and Sol Ruka. The user noted that before watching the match between the two NXT stars, he wondered why there were no female equivalents of Ricochet and AEW's Will Ospreay. The 35-year-old professional wrestler reshared the post and suggested that IYO SKY was on the same level.

"Wha'cu mean? The Genius ps [sic] the sky @Iyo_SkyWWE exists!" he wrote.

WWE Hall of Famer wants Ricochet to join AEW

The former NXT North American Champion made his last in-ring appearance against Andrade on WWE Speed. The inaugural Speed Champion lost the title to the former AEW star to end the bout. His last match on television was also in a losing cause, as Bron Breakker pinned him on the June 3 edition of Monday Night RAW.

Breakker brutally attacked the 21-year veteran in the parking lot area on his last television appearance the following week on RAW. Following his departure from the company, the former United States Champion has been rumored to join AEW.

On a recent edition of his Hall Of Fame podcast, WWE veteran Booker T stated he believes the high flyer would fit perfectly on the Florida-based promotion's roster and produce consistent five-star matches.

"I think Ricochet is one of those guys who'd fit into somewhere like AEW. When he goes into the ring, he is gonna be looking for a five-star match ... I just think that's his mentality, to go out and perform, and perform at that highest level that he possibly can and go out there and create some magic in the middle of the ring," Booker T said.
