The latest edition of WWE RAW turned out to be one filled with a lot of twists and turns. The show featured the surprise return of R-Truth, who had been out for weeks following Bronson Reed's vicious attack. However, Truth's return ended up being a nightmare for the star.

Truth teamed up with his long-time friend, The Miz, to take on the Authors of Pain during the show. While the Awesome Truth looked quite strong, The Miz surprisingly betrayed his partner and left the match, making it a two-on-one Handicap match instead.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray addressed the A-lister's heel turn during a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio. He stated that the future depends on the plans WWE has for him. He said that he would love to see a heel Miz face Bron Breakker in the future and heaped praise on the A-lister.

"It's just a question of what level of heel will they allow The Miz to be at this stage of the game. Will he be a heel that can be propelled back into the main event scene, or will he be a mid-card heel and work with Truth and any other up-and-coming babyface that they need to get over. It looks like they're putting their toe in the water with Bron Breakker turning him babyface. We saw him with the face-to-face with GUNTHER last night... But The Miz is a great heel for a guy like Bron Breakker to work with," stated the Hall of Famer. [H/T WrestlingInc]

The Miz returned to WWE NXT after a decade recently

NXT's premiere on the CW Network turned out to be a star-studded affair with some massive names appearing on the show. A surprise appearance from The Miz was also featured during the show.

The A-lister appeared on the developmental brand after over a decade and hosted an edition of the Miz TV with special guests, Oba Femi and Tony D'Angelo.

Following his recent heel turn, it will be interesting to see how the former WWE Champion justifies his betrayal on RAW next week.
