WWE Superstar Randy Orton is one of the greatest names to ever step inside the squared circle. Although The Viper has been tearing it up on SmackDown, he is all set to appear on next week's edition of NXT, but the show might face some broadcasting issues.

Orton has been at the top of his game for more than two decades. The Legend Killer is also one of the most decorated stars in World Wrestling Entertainment, having won several championships, including 14 world titles.

The Apex Predator is set to return to his hometown on the WWE's developmental brand, NXT, where he will face Je'Von Evans on October 8, 2024. This will be the white and gold brand's second show on the CW Network, which has already faced some issues as the company had to move its arena from Enterprise Center in St. Louis to The Factory in Chesterfield.

It looks like the show might face further issues. According to local listings, the show would face some broadcasting issues as KPLR Channel 11 will air local news on the CW Network at the same time, 8 PM, as NXT. This might force the white and gold brand's show to be aired on a tape delay, from 8:30 to 10:30 PM for the fans in St. Louis.

WWE NXT's debut episode on the CW Network was a massive success, featuring major names like CM Punk, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair. It remains to be seen if the show will keep the momentum going with Randy Orton in action next week.

WWE Superstar Randy Orton sent a warning to Je'Von Evans ahead of their clash

During this week's WWE NXT, The Apex Predator appeared on the show via a vignette in which he talked about how everyone has been saying that Je'Von Evans might be the next Randy Orton.

Orton also sent a warning to Evans, saying he wanted to hit the latter with a devastating RKO.

"All I've been hearing about is how amazing he is in the ring, how one day he could possibly be, in his own way, the next Randy Orton. I want to test his mettle. I want to see what he's made of. He's gonna have the odds stacked against him, but who knows? This could be the match that makes Je'Von Evans the number-one prospect in NXT... But I also have an ulterior motive. I'd like to see if I can hit Je'Von Evans with an RKO that will knock everybody's socks off."

It remains to be seen what Shawn Michaels has planned for Randy Orton's match on next week's WWE NXT.
