Randy Orton is not having a good week on WWE SmackDown and was attacked backstage. His tag team has now broken up.

Orton and Kevin Owens have been a tag team for most of this year, forming R-KO to combat The Bloodline. Last week though, after Bad Blood Owens attacked Cody Rhodes, someone who has been their ally for most of the year as well. However, The Viper has been trying to be the voice of reason between the two. Owens has been upset ever since Cody decided to team up with Roman Reigns.

On SmackDown this week, Owens came out claiming that Rhodes had turned on him, and not the other way. However, when Rhodes came out, Orton tried to stop the two from brawling. In the course of that, things got physical, with Randy Orton punching Kevin Owens. KO left, looking absolutely heartbroken. Orton said that he was going to try to talk to Owens, but it was not to be.

Backstage, Nick Aldis rushed to the location where Orton was under attack, as Owens was spotted beating him down to the ground. Aldis got security to take The Prizefighter away and called for doctors for Randy Orton.

The star was left hurt, and it seems that his tag team with KO has now broken up in a heartbreaking move. Kevin Owens was heard shouting at Orton that he had chosen his side.

Next week's show should reveal what's next between the three stars.
