R-Truth's 'friendly' match ruined by heel faction; gets destroyed by The Miz after picking up the win

WWE Superstar R-Truth faced off against former tag team partner The Miz this week on Monday Night RAW. The A-Lister recently betrayed his Awesome Truth teammate and broke off their alliance. Despite being backstabbed, Truth wanted to have a friendly match with Miz. However, The Final Testament didn’t let that happen.

R-Truth began the match by wanting to shake hands with The Miz. While the two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion shook his hand, he didn’t join his former ally in the dance they usually broke into as a team. Taking it as a cue to be serious, Truth got ready for a real fight. However, they got distracted by Karrion Kross walking down the ramp with his faction, The Final Testament.

Getting his head back in the match a couple of seconds faster, Truth rolled The Miz up for a pin and won. Picking up a win without having to hit his friend made Truth happy and he celebrated by hugging The A-Lister and the match official.

However, when he started to exit the arena, an angry Kross ordered the Authors of Pain to send Truth back into the ring. Following this, The Miz hit the veteran with a vicious Skull Crushing Finale and looked at him angrily.

With this, The Miz has put a seal on his heel turn and betrayal on R-Truth, who still had an Awesome Truth vest on. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for these two superstars.
