WWE seems to be going full swing with a variety of storylines this fall. And creative smartly utilized a seemingly underutilized team this week on SmackDown. During the opening segment, which featured the first appearance of Nia Jax since winning the Women's Championship at SummerSlam, Pretty Deadly was noteworthy.

They had the daunting task of performing a musical in a wrestling show, with two of the top women athletes present in the ring. Pretty Deadly has now teased the addition of a new member to their team. Speaking of underutilized, Tyler Breeze is still in contract with World Wrestling Entertainment after his initial 2021 release.

The 36-year-old is a member of Xavier Woods' UpUpDownDown YouTube channel. Once looked upon as a talent who showed promise, especially when he and former WWE Superstar, Fandango were "Breezango," Breeze now simultaneously works on the independent circuit.

Breezango's comedic segments called, "The Fashion Files" were very popular among fans. Taking to Instagram, Pretty Deadly teased that Tyler Breeze could join their group on SmackDown.

"Two’s Company but Three is Pretty Gorgeous," Kit Wilson wrote.

So far on SmackDown, Pretty Deadly has made use of every opportunity that was presented to them with aplomb. Whether Tyler Breeze actually joins them on the blue brand bears watching.

Triple H had warned Tyler Breeze prior to his WWE release

During an interview on Developmentally Speaking in February 2024, Tyler Breeze opened up about his release. He wrestled for the Stamford-based promotion from 2010 to 2021.

He revealed that WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque had warned him beforehand that it was going to happen, owing to financial reasons. At that point, The Game did not hold the kind of power he does today in terms of the company's talents and creative aspects.

"I knew it [WWE release] was probably happening at some point," Breeze said. "And, actually, I believe when it finally happened, I'm pretty sure Hunter [Triple H] had already told me that like, 'Oh, this will probably happen,' just because I was still on a main roster deal at that point, so when it comes down to looking at stuff like that, you can't make that much money in that spot."

Breeze also added that within six months he and World Wrestling Entertainment got to an agreement as he was involved in many things outside the ring and on account of this, the company still needed him.
