Nia Jax found a new tag team partner for her match on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton couldn't make it to the show tonight.
The Irresistible Force has been involved in a storyline with Bayley and Naomi for numerous weeks. She and The Buff Barbie Doll were set to face the two babyfaces in a tag team match on the blue brand this week, but it was revealed during a backstage segment between Nick Aldis and the WWE Women's Champion that Tiffany Stratton was sick and couldn't make it.
Nia Jax thought the match was going to be canceled, but the SmackDown General Manager told her to find a new partner. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell walked in and the WWE Speed Women's Champion said she overheard the conversation and offered to be Jax's partner.
Nick Aldis made it official. Nia Jax told The Poison Pixie that she must not disappoint her. The WWE Women's Champion will take on Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel next month in a Champion vs. Champion match.
The winner of the bout will be crowned the new WWE Crown Jewel Champion. It'll be interesting to see whether Tiffany Stratton will try to cash in her contract during the bout.
