WWE Superstar Roxanne Perez has sent a bold message to the NXT roster following her win at the 2024 Heatwave Premium Live Event. Perez again successfully retained her title in Canada.

On Sunday, Perez put the NXT Women's Championship on the line against her arch-rival, Lola Vice, in a singles match. Vice had the upper hand in the early stages of the contest, but the champion quickly gained momentum. The 23-year-old won the bout by hitting the Pop Rox on the former mixed martial artist twice.

In a backstage interview with WWE's Sarah Schreiber, Roxanne Perez said she did exactly what she had promised. The NXT Women's Champion added that she had defeated prominent names like Natalya, Chelsea Green, Kelani Jordan, and now Lola Vice. Perez concluded by claiming that no one on the white-and-gold brand's roster was on her level.

"Did she? Did she? Oh, you think so? I don't care what you think, Sarah. I told everyone that I was gonna walk into Toronto with my baby [the NXT Women's Title] and walk out of Toronto with my baby. And look at that! Another one down. It was Natalya, then it was Chelsea, then it was Jordan, then it was Lola Vice. So until someone that's actually on my level, decides to step up, me and my baby will be waiting." (0:12- 0:42)

Roxanne Perez disclosed the advice she received from CM Punk

Roxanne Perez is a massive fan of CM Punk and seemingly considers the latter her pro wrestling mentor.

In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Perez revealed how she was once checking fans' comments on her X/Twitter feed when Punk leaned in and looked at her phone. The 23-year-old mentioned that the WWE veteran advised her not to be bothered by what viewers online had to say about her.

"I'm like, I'm scrolling on Twitter, and he like leans back, and he sees what I'm doing on my phone, and he goes, 'Stop looking at that. Stop looking at that. It doesn't matter what they say. It doesn't matter if they love you. It doesn't matter if they hate you. You keep on going out there and doing what you do and proving to everyone why you are in this. You are in the spot that you are in.'"

It will be exciting to see who will eventually dethrone Roxanne Perez. A popular name has already teased chasing Perez's gold.
