Matt Cardona recently took to social media to send a message to a WWE legend after the latter's brutal match on the latest edition of AEW Dynamite. The legend being referred to is Dustin Rhodes, formerly known as Goldust.

On the June 12 episode of Dynamite, Rhodes locked horns with Jack Perry for a spot in the TNT Championship Ladder Match at Forbidden Door on June 30, 2024. During the bout, The Natural was left busted open and the match ended in favor of Perry after he hit his opponent's face with a running knee.

Following the match, Dustin Rhodes took to X (formerly Twitter) to send a message. The Natural's post caught Matt Cardona's attention, and he shut down the WWE legend with a seven-word message.

"Sorry Dustin, but I have #AlwayzReady trademarked," he wrote.

Dustin Rhodes was quick to reply to the former Intercontinental Champion, apologizing for his mistake.

"My apologies [heart emoji]," Dustin replied.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray was not a fan of the refereeing during Dustin Rhodes vs. Jack Perry

During a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray said that he did not like the refereeing during Dustin Rhodes' match against Jack Perry on AEW Dynamite because the official was not doing her job properly.

"I don't know why AEW feels the need to have referees in some of these matches, because they just don't do their jobs, I liked the match, I didn't like the referee. Guy is out on the floor, no count, punches in the corner no count. I mean is it that difficult to do your job? Is it that difficult to be the law and order in the ring? Is it that difficult to count to ten when a guy's on the floor? Or count to five when guys are in the ropes or in the corner?"

Many fans want to see Dustin Rhodes back in WWE as Goldust. It will be interesting to see what the legend has planned for a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion.
