The WWE Universe is buzzed over some reports of a potential return by Mandy Rose as of late after she announced a rare wrestling gig. The former Toxic Attraction leader left the company amid some controversy at the end of 2022, but now she's teasing an in-ring comeback.

The Golden Goddess was released by WWE in December 2022. She has not wrestled since losing the NXT Women's Championship to Roxanne Perez the night before her release and has made just a few wrestling-related appearances. The 34-year-old just accepted her biggest post-WWE booking as she will compete in Black Label Pro's DraftKings Wrestling Combine on September 4. Four men and four women will be in a series of competitions to find out who is the strongest, fastest, and most in shape.

Mandy spoke with Sports Illustrated and explained why she chose the Combine to end her lengthy hiatus. She sees this as a special booking as it's very different, and DraftKings were strong partners in the past, plus she's good friends with Mojo Rawley, who is co-sponsoring with his Paragon Talent Group. The NY native said she really just liked the whole idea.

Rose was asked if she would be among the Combine competitors that wrestle later that night during BLP's Crowning Glory event. She would not disclose too much as she wanted there to be "a little surprise," but she said she might make a special appearance that night. Rose has resisted the temptations of a ring return, and the Combine will give her the best post-WWE opportunity she's had to catch the wrestling bug, which could bring a big comeback.

"I definitely miss it. I can't sit here and say I don't, it was a big part of my life for eight-plus years. I don't know if I'm gonna miss that first bump I take, if I take a bump. We'll see how my body feels [laughs]. I'm very proud, grateful and blessed of everything I've accomplished, the last couple years especially, but certain things really give you that adrenaline rush… Maybe that's the little feeling I may be missing a little bit lately. We shall see. Maybe, it might bring me to a comeback," Mandy Rose said. [H/T - Sports Illustrated]

The Combine will take place before BLP's Crowning Glory event next Wednesday at Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago and will stream free on Chris Van Vliet's YouTube channel. Mandy Rose will be joined by Jordynne Grace, Dana Brooke, and Xia Li. The male participants are Moose, Riddick Moss, Parker Boudreaux, and Jake Hager. Later that night, Li and Maggie Lee will face Brooke and Shazza McKenzie, while Grace will face Rachel Armstrong.

Mandy Rose finds success in return to competing

Mandy Rose began her WWE journey in 2016, but before that, she was into professional bodybuilding as she won the 2013 World Bodybuilding Fitness & Fashion Competition, and then the 2014 WBFF Bikini Pro World Championship. Mandy announced earlier this summer that she was getting back into competing.

The self-proclaimed God's Greatest Creation returned to the stage earlier this month at WBFF Worlds Miami. Mandy Rose placed 2nd in the Pro Diva Bikini Model category and placed 3rd in the Pro Diva Wellness/Fitness Model category.

Mandy Rose and former WWE star Tino Sabbatelli are preparing to get married in the near future. In addition to her online content, Rose stays busy with her beauty and skincare line, Amarose.
