A major star hilariously oversold a move by Jey Uso at a WWE Live Event today in Cardiff, Wales. Main Event Jey successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against The New Day's Xavier Woods this past Monday night on WWE RAW.

The veteran defeated Bron Breakker on the September 23 edition of the red brand to capture the Intercontinental Championship. Breakker attacked Uso following his victory over Woods on RAW and leveled the champion with a Spear.

Uso battled Breakker at a WWE Live Event today and picked up the pinfall victory. During the match, the veteran caught Breakker with a Superkick, and the 26-year-old hilariously oversold the move. You can check out the humorous video in the post below.

Uso recently stated that it was disrespectful of Breakker to hit him with a Spear on RAW because Roman Reigns had also hit him with the move in the past.

Former WWE writer claims Jey Uso did not need to win the Intercontinental Championship

Vince Russo shared his thoughts on Jey Uso capturing the Intercontinental Championship last month on RAW and claimed that the former Bloodline member did not need to win the title.

Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo reacted to Uso's title victory last month on the red brand. It was the 39-year-old's first singles title victory in WWE. The legend suggested that Bron Breakker must have made a mistake behind the scenes for the company to take the title off of him.

"I think Bron Breakker F'd up. I think Bron Breakker did something that somebody didn't like. They've gotta send Bron Breakker a message because they gotta break Bron Breakker. There is no way in heck that Jey Uso needed that title. No way, no how whatsoever. Jey Uso is way over with or without a title," he said. [From 4:20 onwards]

Jimmy Uso returned to WWE after a hiatus at Bad Blood last weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. He helped Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jacon Fatu at the premium live event and had a conversation with the Original Tribal Chief this past Friday night on SmackDown.

Jimmy Uso suggested that they could get help from Jey Uso against The Bloodline, but Roman Reigns responded by saying, "No Yeet!" It will be fascinating to see how long Uso can hold on to the Intercontinental Championship moving forward on RAW.
