Ludwig Kaiser was spotted at ringside on SmackDown along with other WWE legends like Teddy Long, Rob Van Dam, William Regal, and Robert Roode. After SmackDown went off the air, Kaiser lost to a popular WWE legend.

Ludwig Kaiser wrestled on the SmackDown before Bash in Berlin - answering LA Knight's open challenge unsuccessfully. However, there has been a lot of positivity about Kaiser and his potential in general. On RAW, he has a score to settle with Sheamus, against whom he is tied 1-1 in televised bouts.

In terms of untelevised matches, Kaiser is now 0-2 against The Celtic Warrior. In the dark match after SmackDown went off the air tonight, WWE legend Sheamus managed to dispatch Ludwig Kaiser to pick up a win.

Many felt Kaiser should've gotten a showcase at Bash in Berlin, but it seems to be the philosophy of the newer WWE regime to not have matches on premium live events unless there's a strong enough reason to.

In addition, it helps stack up the televised shows - which means a lot to broadcast networks since they pay hundreds of millions of dollars over multiple years to broadcast WWE programming.

It will be interesting to see how Kaiser vs. Sheamus III unfolds on television.
