The Miz is set to compete in a singles match on WWE RAW, and it seems like his opponent has no plans to let him go easy. The A-Lister will face former partner R-Truth, ahead of which the 52-year-old sent him a rather unusual warning message.

The Miz and R-Truth reunited earlier this year after over a decade. They went on to win the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40. However, after a 79-day reign, Awesome Truth dropped the gold to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Last month, The A-Lister turned on Truth during a tag team match against The Authors of Pain on RAW.

The two men will get a chance to settle their differences inside the squared circle on RAW this week. R-Truth looks all pumped up before the match. The veteran sent a warning to The Miz on X in his signature goofy style.

"Tonight on Monday Night RAW. I’m gonna be all ova [sic] @mikethemiz like a monkey on a cupcake. That’s all. That's the tweet," R-Truth posted.

WWE veteran feels The Miz's heel turn was unnecessary

After aiding R-Truth in his feud against The Judgment Day, The Miz turned on his partner a couple of weeks ago to kickstart a feud between the two. While The A-Lister has fared better as a villainous character, WWE veteran Teddy Long claimed that the former's heel turn was unnecessary.

"Miz didn't have to turn heel. Miz was already a heel. Now, they just made him more comfortable... I love The Miz, man. I remember him back when he was in the Deep South. You know when he first got started and everything, man. So, me and him [sic] have always been cool, man. He has a beautiful family. Whatever Miz does, it turns to gold," the veteran said.

Karrion Kross played a major role in the two-time WWE Champion's heel turn as The Herald of Doomsday was constantly in The Miz's ear. However, the duo could pay for their crimes as they could become the next target of the Wyatt Sicks.
