WWE Superstar LA Knight has been on a roll since winning the United States Championship. Last night, he successfully defended his title against Carmelo Hayes. Following his victory, The Megastar took to social media to share his thoughts.

At SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, Knight defeated Logan Paul to secure the US Title. He has since retained his championship by defeating notable opponents like Santos Escobar, Ludwig Kaiser, and Andrade on the blue brand.

On the October 11, 2024, installment of Friday Night SmackDown, despite Carmelo Hayes' valiant efforts and impressive performance, The Megastar retained his United States Championship.

LA Knight broke his silence via a video on X/Twitter by bragging about his ability to defend his gold. He believed that his opponents, The A-Champion and Andrade, were motivated by the prestige and beauty of the US Championship belt.

The 41-year-old WWE Superstar issued a warning to his future challengers to come forward and try their luck and stated that they would ultimately meet the same fate as his previous opponents.

"The bottom line is, Melo, Andrade, everybody's coming for this [United States Title]. Why is that? Because everybody wants it. Why you should [sic] want it? Look at it. It's beautiful, but it's mine. Unfortunately, the way that goes is you catch BFT, you catch three the hard way, and what that means is I've beaten both of you; I don't know why you're still knocking on my door. If you need to get beat again, you will get beat again. The bottom line is, I hit, I quit it. New challengers, come on up," he said.

LA Knight's next opponent will be determined on next week's WWE SmackDown

After losing to Knight on the blue brand, Carmelo Hayes threw a tantrum backstage at Nick Aldis. However, the SmackDown General Manager had an idea.

Since El Idolo and Melo are tied at 3-3 in their series of six matches, Aldis announced that they would face off one more time to seal the deal. The victor of their seventh match will earn a shot at LA Knight's WWE United States Title.

It will be interesting to see which star emerges victorious to earn a shot at The Megastar's title.
