A real-life Bloodline member was seen with TNA's Joe Hendry ahead of SmackDown. Hendry has already begun making appearances for WWE in 2024, and there are rumblings of his eventual signing with the Stamford-based promotion. He joined WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi at the New York Comic Con.

Joe Hendry made his WWE in-ring debut on the June 18, 2024, edition of NXT after a few random appearances 10 years ago as an extra. His most high-profile match was at NXT No Mercy in September, where he unsuccessfully challenged then-NXT Champion Ethan Page.

Taking to Instagram, Joe Hendry shared a picture with Rikishi at New York Comic Con, which the latter re-shared. Hendry noted that fans can meet them at the event for signings. Rikishi had a few words of his own.

"The Uce @joehendry we here," Rikishi wrote.

On SmackDown, The Bloodline Saga is going strong. Being someone who stays updated with what is going on in WWE, Rikishi recently opened up about expecting Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to turn heel at Bad Blood, where he teamed up with Roman Reigns.

Rikishi has an interesting perception about the man who slayed The Bloodline

Cody Rhodes stood apart from the WWE roster in that he fought for his position while Roman Reigns and The Bloodline ruled SmackDown. Ultimately, he dethroned the OTC at WrestleMania XL.

Rikishi opines that Cody Rhodes is someone fans can easily hate because the latter gives rich-white-boy vibes. While he praised what The American Nightmare has been doing of late, he also feels there is a bit of disconnect in terms of character:

"Cody's a great worker, but for me, I just feel he can be a better heel. He's that guy with a suave look, and he's a white boy. Come on. He's got the suits on. It's almost like a Million Dollar Man type of vibe, a new era Million Dollar Man, just that heat seeker, you know, 'When I tell you to do something, do it. Here's your tip right here.' Throw him 50 cents or something. You know, that type because it's so easy when you look at it, for me, it's so easy to hate him," he added.

Another interesting aspect of Bad Blood was the return of Jimmy Uso, Rikishi's son. The Hall of Famer pointed to the crowd erupted for Big Jim's comeback, noting how the tides have turned for The Bloodline.
