Jerry Lawler was a WWE broadcast team member between 1992 and 2023 before health issues forced him to step aside. In an exclusive interview, the wrestling legend revealed how he feels about no longer doing the job he used to enjoy so much.

On February 7, 2023, Lawler was hospitalized after suffering a stroke. The 74-year-old's WWE commentary contract ended in early 2024. Since then, he has signed a new Legends deal with the company.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter, Lawler admitted he does not miss commentating. He also revealed how he felt after doing some voiceover work in a studio recently:

"Do I miss it? No. Not a bit. No, not a bit," Lawler said. "Well, I just went out there [to do voiceover work] and sat down with myself and, I don't know, it's just like another chapter of my life I get to lay out there, and I didn't think when I finished it, as a matter of fact, like 10, 15 minutes before it was over, I was thinking, 'Oh my gosh, how much longer is this gonna last?' So, anyways, when it was over I just got up and went about my business, left the studio, and went about being Jerry Lawler." [2:03 – 2:49]
