WWE fans were shocked when Chad Gable was seemingly "shot" by the Wyatt Sicks during a brutal backstage attack on Monday Night RAW in June 2024. Today, the former Alpha Academy member shared his thoughts on being a central figure in the sinister faction's debut.

On the June 17, 2024, episode of the flagship show, Uncle Howdy (aka Bo Dallas) returned to TV alongside his fiendish friends, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan. The Wyatt Sicks laid waste to everything in sight on their debut night, culminating in a disturbing attack on Chad Gable.

It's important to note that Master Gable being "killed" was part of a WWE storyline. However, the star recently revealed that fans thought he was really dead.

During an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Chad Gable shared a story about encountering a young fan at church following the segment. The kid approached the WWE Superstar and queried about the latter's wound.

"Yeah, that was; that was quite a night. Out of everything I've done over the past couple of years, the response to that was so out of this world insane. People thought [I was dead]. I can't tell you the amount [sic] of people that thought something actually happened to me. I went to church that Sunday and ran into a little kid who was watching. I was kind of hiding my head from him, and he was like making his way around me to get a look at my head. And he's like, 'Where did it [the wound] go?'" Gable revealed. [H/T: CVV]

The former RAW Tag Team Champion improvised a response, as he claimed that he went to the hospital. When the kid inquired about the Wyatt Sicks' assault, Gable told the enthusiastic young fan to tune in to the upcoming edition of the flagship show for an explanation.

"I'm like, 'Well, I mean, I fixed it, bud. I went to the hospital and stuff; it was bad!' And he's like, 'What did they do to you?' I'm like, 'You'll have to tune in tomorrow night.' They were into it; it was really interesting," he added. [H/T: CVV]

Chad Gable made his presence felt on WWE RAW

The August 12, 2024, edition of the Monday Night Show featured Master Gable's new stablemates, The Creed Brothers, in action. After parting ways with the Alpha Academy, the 38-year-old WWE star has formed a new group called American Made, alongside Brutus and Julius Creed.

Chad Gable appeared in a video package, addressing his loss to the Wyatt Sicks on last week's RAW. Despite being in France for the 2024 Olympics, the former RAW Tag Team Champion expressed confidence in The Creed Brothers ahead of the duo's match against Otis and Akira Tozawa.

Julius and Brutus eventually defeated Otis and Tozawa in a Texas Tornado Match. In the closing moments of the bout, Ivy Nile shockingly betrayed Maxxine Dupri and unleashed a brutal attack, marking a stunning heel turn.

The WWE Universe will have to wait and see how the storyline between Chad Gable's new alliance and the Alpha Academy unfolds in the coming weeks.
