Gunther is sent a huge warning after WWE RAW goes off the air; major threat

Gunther may be the World Heavyweight Champion and is about to face Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, but he may have to keep looking over his shoulder as there's already another threat on the horizon. The star has a new challenger ready.

The Ring General recently put his demons behind him by defeating Sami Zayn, breaking the idea that since the star had defeated him for the Intercontinental Title, it would be a curse that followed the champion. Now, he is heading into Crown Jewel looking to become the first-ever Men's Crown Jewel Champion by defeating Cody Rhodes. Before he can do that though, he has a big challenge to face in the form of Damian Priest.

Damian Priest may have lost the World Heavyweight Title, but that only happened after Finn Balor turned on him during the match and the distraction allowed Gunther to win the contest.

Now though, with Balor no longer bothering him, Priest is ready to go back for his World Heavyweight Title. The star has his work cut out for him given Gunther's record overall, as well as the fact that The Ring General is determined to retain his title. After RAW though, Priest posted a GIF of himself holding the World Heavyweight Title, making it clear that he was going after Gunther next.

With that being the case, it remains to be seen how the champion responds.
