A former WWE Intercontinental Champion is recently making news after teasing a potential comeback in the squared circle. After having wrestled his last official match back in October 2015, Ezekiel Jackson recently sent a message about Eddie Guerrero.

The late WWE Hall of Famer is widely regarded as one of the best and most creative minds to ever step foot in the ring. A recently uploaded video on X (formerly Twitter) showcased how The Latino Heat used cunning tricks in his matches to fool the referees. Reacting to the post, Ezekiel Jackson sent a message about Eddie Guerrero via a tweet.

“#eddie was amazing,” wrote Jackson.

Ezekiel Jackson was one of the few names who had everything needed to become a giant in pro wrestling but couldn’t make it big. Jackson was the final ECW Champion, but following his return to the Stamford-based promotion after ECW's end, his momentum was thwarted. His run with the Stamford-based promotion came to an end in 2014, following which he stopped wrestling altogether.

Ezekiel Jackson stirs comeback hype among WWE fans

Ezekiel Jackson recently posted a training video X. While Jackson is a fitness trainer and a bodybuilder, this training video saw him running and bouncing off the ropes. The star also took a bump in the middle of the ring.

While this was enough to spark a comeback hype for the former Intercontinental Champion, his caption suggested that a return might just be around the corner.

"Haven’t ran in a ring or bumped in a while. Not too bad for 46!" he wrote.

Check out the video below:

Ezekiel Jackson had previously bulldozed through Wade Barrett’s Corre stable after playing the role of its muscle. The landscape of wrestling has changed considerably in the past nine years as the UK superstar is now a commentator in WWE. It would be interesting to see if the former IC Champ eventually returns to pro wrestling and rejoins the Stamford-based promotion.
