During WWE's recent tour of Japan, AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes shared a moment in the ring. The two superstars are former members of the legendary New Japan Pro-Wrestling faction, Bullet Club.

In 2014, Styles debuted as a member of the Bullet Club, replacing the departing Prince Devitt (Finn Balor). During his time in the faction, Styles won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Before departing NJPW for WWE, The Phenomenal One was kicked out of the faction by Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.

Meanwhile, Rhodes debuted as a Bullet Club member in 2016 and quickly became one of the most crucial members of the group. During his time in the faction, The American Nightmare caused a civil war within the group after betraying Omega.

On Twitter (X), an image of AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes doing the Too Sweet hand gesture quickly went viral. The gesture is often done by Bullet Club members.

AJ Styles wants Pro Wrestling NOAH wrestlers to compete in WWE

AJ Styles was recently in action at Pro Wrestling NOAH's Destination 2024 show. The Phenomenal One secured a hard-fought win over Naomichi Marufuji.

Speaking in an interview with Tokyo Sports, the former WWE Champion invited NOAH wrestlers to the United States and expressed his desire to witness them compete under the WWE banner.

"It would be good if it wasn't just WWE wrestlers coming to NOAH, but NOAH wrestlers coming to WWE. NOAH wrestlers can learn about the American environment by going to WWE. At the same time, WWE Superstars will also learn about Japanese pro wrestling culture. I think it would be good, especially for young wrestlers," Styles said.

Styles' latest televised match in WWE occurred at the Clash at the Castle: Scotland Premium Live Event, where he lost to the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in an "I Quit" Match.
