On the latest episode of WWE NXT, former AEW star Ethan Page collided with Je'Von Evans in the main event of the show. This bout was set up after the controversy surrounding the opening match.

The latest edition of the white and gold brand kicked off with a Battle Royal to determine Trick Williams' next challenger for the NXT Championship. After the bell rang, Oro Mensah attacked Page and sent him out of the ring. However, All Ego was not eliminated as he went through the ropes and not over the top. Je'Von Evans won the Battle Royal and is now the number-one contender for Whoop That Trick's NXT Championship.

Ethan Page confronted Evans backstage and General Manager Ava set up a match between them in the main event. During the bout, the former AEW star hit his opponent with a vicious powerslam and got a two-count. He then locked in the Boston Crab, but Je'Von Evans managed to get to the ropes. Evans took down Page with several clotheslines and a flying kick.

He hit a springboard clothesline and got a two-count. He then went for a springboard cutter but Ethan Page intercepted and slammed him on the mat. In the end, the 34-year-old star hit his Ego's Edge finishing move to win the match. After the match, he confronted Trick Williams, who was at ringside.

Shawn Spears then came out and attacked Evans in the ring. Trick tried to help the young WWE star but he was attacked by Spears and Ethan Page. Je'Von took out the two heels with a springboard cutter and the show went off the air with all four men lying on the mat.
