Finn Balor seeks solace from former 44-year-old WWE star after his loss at Bad Blood

WWE Superstar Finn Balor had sent several threats to Damian Preist ahead of Bad Blood. However, The Judgment Day leader failed to overcome his former teammate at the premium live event. Interestingly, following his loss in Atlanta, he has reached out to a former WWE star for support. The name in question is Eric Young.

Young is a 44-year-old pro wrestler currently signed to TNA. He was the leader of the SAnitY faction in WWE and worked in the company between 2016 and 2020. The IMPACT star is also the host of a musical talk show named Vinyl Obsession on AXS TV. Interestingly, as the show is releasing its second season on October 6, 2024, Finn Balor sought solace from Young's show via a post on X.

“I hope @TheEricYoung can cheer me up on Vinyal [sic] Obsession tonight.”

This could mean there was a possibility that the WWE Universe may see Finn Balor appear on the talk show with Eric Young in the future. While the Irishman seems to be seeking some moral support from Young, he seems to have achieved an important objective at Bad Blood despite losing to Damian Priest.

Finn Balor succeeds in dissolving The Terror Twins

Bad Blood was a bag of mixed results for both The Judgment Day and The Terror Twins. While Damian Priest secured a win against Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley failed to capture Liv Morgan's Women’s World Championship. Notably, The Eradicator was blindsided by Raquel Rodriguez, who made a sudden comeback after being off television since February 2024.

During the press conference after the premium live event, Damian Priest addressed the return of Rodriguez and Mami’s loss. He said that while they knew The Judgment Day had something up their sleeve, they never expected it to be Rodriguez. Additionally, while he said that Ripley would put this setback behind her and retake her title in no time, he wouldn’t be teaming up with her anymore.

"We got together to push each other. Rhea and I achieved that. While it was fun as far as doing it with your friends and whatnot, at the same time there is something to, ‘Alright, now I'm here. let's see what I can do on my own.’ I love Rhea. That's my best friend in the world. But, she's in the women's division. I'm in the men's division. Although we are friends, we have to follow our own path," Damian Priest said. [12:48 - 13:15]

This was a voluntary decision on the part of both Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. However, this has indirectly cleared a big objective off the checklist of The Judgment Day. It would be interesting to see how The Terror Twins will now navigate their journey on Monday nights as they strap their boots for a solo ride on WWE RAW.
