WWE NXT live event this week featured a huge return as Nikkita Lyons made a comeback to in-ring competition after over 250 days. The 25-year-old sent a message on social media following the unexpected return.

Nikkita Lyons has been a part of the Stamford-based promotion since 2021. However, multiple injuries have derailed her career so far. She was last seen in action in January when she suffered a loss to Blair Davenport. Shortly after the match, it was reported that she had suffered a knee injury and would be out of action for a while.

The star stunned the wrestling world on September 27 as she made her return at the NXT Davenport house show. She teamed up with Dante Chen in a mixed tag team match to defeat Jasper Troy and Izzi Dame. Following the win, Nikkita Lyons sent a message to her tag team partner.

"Dante Chennn!!! You Rock," she posted on X.

Recent WWE signee Guilia also competed at NXT Davenport

Other than Nikkita Lyons making her return, NXT Davenport also saw WWE's latest signee Guilia in action. The Beautiful Madness took on Wren Sinclair in a singles match and had no problem in securing the win.

Guilia recently made her debut for the sports entertainment juggernaut after reportedly signing with the company months ago. She is set to face Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship on October 1, the show's debut on the CW Network.

The 30-year-old has already made her WWE TV debut. She defeated Chelsea Green in her first match for the company. Guilia is touted as the next big female star and it remains to be seen whether she will be ending Roxanne Perez's incredible title reign next week. However, the winner of the bout will have to keep a close eye on Stephanie Vaquer who recently declared her intention to go after the winner of the NXT Women's Championship match.
