Former WWE manager Jim Cornette recently spoke about Vince McMahon's account on the Netflix documentary. The show released last week on the popular streaming site.

During the show, Mr. McMahon spoke about how Wendi Richter refused to give up the Women's Championship. The 79-year-old claimed that it was his belt and he devised a plan to get it from her. Vince claimed he would get the match started and then would ask the referee to count to three whenever Richter's shoulders were pinned.

The veteran reviewed episode three of the series this week on Jim Cornette's Drive Thru. He spoke about the original scr*wjob in WWE back in 1985 featuring Wendi Richter and The Fabulous Moolah. He recalled that Vince learned from his father to get the match underway as advertised. Cornette detailed that Vince McMahon Sr. always ensured that the fans got what they paid for and Vince Jr. also adhered to these principles.

"The most pertinent thing to a Vince documentary in this particular story was the one quote he had. He said get the match in the ring. That was Vince Sr.'s philosophy. When people are arguing, as a promoter, as the pope of Madison Square Garden, a big fu*king deal, when you've got something advertised get the match in the ring. If they're b*tching about the finish, find some way to smooth it out, work it out or even just get it in the ring and see what's gonna happen. But get the match in the ring. That was Vince Sr.'s motto, one of them, and that's what Vince Jr. would do." [From 6:50 - 7:42]

The series documented Vince McMahon's childhood

The producers of the series delved into Vince McMahon's childhood in detail. The former WWE CEO mentioned that he did not know of his biological father until he was 12.

The wrestling genius recalled living in a terrible household where his stepfather abused him physically. McMahon also had an uneasy relationship with his mother and later went on to live with Vince McMahon Sr. Vince said that he would wait for the abuse to get over and finally got away from it all after he met his real dad.
