WWE RAW was a big night for Dominik Mysterio as he snapped a losing streak with The Judgment Day's trios victory. Ahead of a unique challenge this weekend, the son of Rey Mysterio has just sparked discussions among fans by sharing a nod to one of the most popular matches in wrestling history.

Real-life friends Eddie Guerrero and The Master of the 619 began feuding in WCW in 1997, with Rey winning three straight to capture the World Cruiserweight Championship at Halloween Havoc. The 14-minute Mask vs. Title match is widely praised. Guerrero regained the gold within weeks.

Dominik's WWE debut came 1,628 days later after his father won the Cruiserweight Championship from Matt Hardy. The third-generation wrestler's first storyline came in 2005 in the Rey vs. Eddie rivalry. Guerrero claimed to be Dominik's father, but the senior Mysterio won a SummerSlam Ladder Match for custody of his son.

Latino Heat would have turned 57 years old in one week. Dirty Dom took to X today with a photo of Eddie's Halloween Havoc entrance, and no caption was needed. The early birthday tribute came as a nod to the legendary match, which many fans and insiders name one of the best in wrestling history.

Guerrero passed away at the age of 38 on November 13, 2005. His last match was a DQ win over Mr. Kennedy on November 8, 2005, at SmackDown in Indianapolis.

Dominik Mysterio ready for the WWE Bad Blood shark cage

World Wrestling Entertainment will present Bad Blood on Saturday, with Liv Morgan defending the Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley. Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a Shark Cage to prevent his interference.

Monday's go-home RAW saw The Judgment Day defeat the LWO in six-man action, but Dirty Dom's faction still brawled with The Terror Twins, and Mysterio ended up in the cage. The video has more than three million views across the company's main social media platforms.

Bad Blood will also see Damian Priest take on Finn Balor in singles action. Finn currently leads their series of televised WWE singles matches at 3-2.
