It's rare to witness Dominik Mysterio get emotional as Dirty Dom has been one of WWE's most prominent heels on Monday Night RAW. However, the second-generation star got emotional and wrote a message on X following SmackDown.

Dominik Mysterio has a significant amount of similarities with the late WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, and his on-screen pairing with Rhea Ripley brought new layers out of the second-generation star. Unfortunately, the pairing ended at The Biggest Party of the Summer in Ohio, as Dirty Dom finally succumbed to the advances of Liv Morgan.

Today, Dominik got emotional as WWE released new merchandise similar to Eddie Guerrero's famous catchphrase (Latino Heat) with a small twist. The second-generation star had an emotional response and shared an image of the merchandise following SmackDown.

"🥹🙌," Mysterio wrote.

The 27-year-old star made a surprising appearance on Friday Night SmackDown alongside Raquel Rodriguez and Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.

JD McDonagh provides an update on Dominik Mysterio's health after WWE Bad Blood

Last month, it was announced that Dominik Mysterio would be locked in a cage for the Women's World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. Regardless of Dom's persistence, Adam Pearce didn't reverse the decision, and Mysterio entered the shark cage at Bad Blood in Atlanta.

In the match's final moments, Dirty Dom's leg was tied to a harness, and the second-generation star took a beating from Mami as he was dangling mid-air. Later, Raquel Rodriguez came and saved the day for Morgan and Mysterio in Atlanta.

Speaking on WWE Deutschland, The Judgment Day's JD McDonagh provided an update on Dirty Dom's in-ring status. The current World Tag Team Champion stated that Mysterio is beaten up after the match and suffering from some pain.

"He was actually pretty beat up the next day. His groin and his ankle were dangling by one leg, giving him a bit of a trouble. He's a tough kid, he'll survive. He'll be okay. I'll say his ego is more bruised than his groin, hopefully," McDonagh said. (From 23:25 to 23:42)

It was assumed the injury was severe, but the second-generation star has fought through the pain as he had a one-on-one dark match with Cody Rhodes after Friday Night SmackDown.
