Damian Priest had a successful outing in the squared circle at WWE Bad Blood as he defeated Finn Balor in a singles match. However, the star delivered heartbreaking news afterward as he revealed that he and Rhea Ripley will be going their separate ways.

Rhea and Priest have been close friends since their NXT days. The two were part of the original Judgment Day which was formed by Edge. However, The Terror Twins were ousted from the group post-SummerSlam. The duo, though, stuck by each other's side and even took part in a few Mixed Tag Team matches, with their biggest win coming against Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at Bash in Berlin.

However, Damian Priest announced their split post-Bad Blood, stating that they will not be involved in each other's storylines anymore. While The Archer of Infamy maintained silence following the revelation for a couple of days, he recently took to Instagram to post a picture in his Bad Blood gear.

Damian Priest teased a rivalry with rising WWE Superstar

Damian Priest has become a prominent part of the WWE roster in the last couple of years. The Archer of Infamy won his first world title earlier this year as he cashed in the Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40. While Priest's title run was not that long, it certainly elevated him to a main event-caliber star.

While the former Judgment Day member is a big name himself, he also had high praise for NXT star Oba Femi who has been quite unstoppable since making his WWE debut. Priest also teased a showdown with the powerhouse.

“That’s gonna be a megastar. You can just tell sometimes and I mean, it’s all set up for him to just - he just has not taken his foot off the gas but, he’s gonna be fine so, I feel like that’s gonna inevitably happen anyway… Yeah, I’m not looking forward to that one (he laughed)," said Priest.

Oba Femi recently dropped the NXT North American Championship after holding the title for a record 272 days. However, he is now expected to move on to the NXT Championship picture.
