With WWE SummerSlam approaching, all the champions are preparing for their big title defense matches. Interestingly, however, while one of the championships isn’t on the SummerSlam card, it will be defended twice next week. Despite the slim odds, a 30-year-old champ has made a bold prediction about winning both the matches in Cleveland.

Isla Dawn dethroned Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair last month alongside her teammate Alba Fyre to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The Unholy Union clinched the titles in front of their home crowd at Clash at the Castle: Scotland. Before heading into two title defenses across two brands next week, Dawn posted a confident tweet on X (formerly Twitter) and stated:

“Your favourite tag teams favourite tag team has a busy week ahead. Can’t wait to relax on Saturday with a glass of wine and my tag title still in hand 💁🏼‍♀️,” wrote Dawn.

While Isla Dawn seems very carefree about the upcoming high-stake matches, she missed her chance to make a statement on this week’s SmackDown. On top of it, her failed attack seems to have foreshadowed a possible title change in Cleveland.

The Unholy Union fails to jump former WWE champions

The July 26, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill doing an in-ring promo in front of the Ohama crowd. While The EST of WWE and The Storm addressed The Unholy Union regarding their upcoming title match, Dawn and Fyre launched a sneak attack on the duo. However, Cargill and Belair turned things around and sent the champs out of the ring.

Thus, their attempt to both weaken and intimidate their opponents backfired. Just like Isla Dawn, Bianca Belair has also sent a message where she claimed that she will bury The Unholy Union once and for all. It would be interesting to see which superstar’s confidence converts into a victory next week on the August 2, 2024 episode of SmackDown.
