Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair are among the most popular superstars on the WWE's women's roster. A current champion recently expressed her desire to wrestle some experienced stars, including Belair and Flair.
The name in question is NXT star Kelani Jordan. The 25-year-old made her television debut in June 2023 as the protege of former WWE Superstar Dana Brooke. She won a Six-Woman Ladder match at NXT Battleground earlier this year to become the inaugural NXT Women's North American Champion.
During a recent interview with Ella Jay for SEScoops, Kelani Jordan was asked about her dream matches on the main roster. The NXT star named Bianca Belair as the one she would love to face, claiming that The EST has helped women like her pave their way into professional wrestling. Jordan added she would also love to wrestle Charlotte Flair.
"I would absolutely love to work with a lot of people, but if I had to pick just right now, I would say Bianca [Belair] because she's helped pave the way for women like me to be able to wrestle, and she's also incredible in the ring, she's super powerful. But she's also very athletic, and I just want to work with her. Someone else that I would love to work is Charlotte [Flair]. She's the queen for a reason," she said.
Kelani Jordan further revealed she would like to share the ring with former women's champions Naomi and Natalya.
"And I honestly would love to work Naomi because I feel like we have similar styles, and I feel like I'm kind of her wrestling daughter because our styles are so similar, our personalities are very charismatic, bubbly, so I would love to work her. Last but not least is Nattie because I love Nattie, and she's also someone who I really do feel has paved the way for wrestling to be taken seriously as a woman in the industry. Kelani Jordan will share the ring with Bianca Belair on NXT
The NXT Women's North American Champion might have to wait a while to lock horns with Bianca Belair. But she is set to team up with The EST of WWE on the upcoming edition of NXT.
Kelani Jordan is scheduled to team up with the Women's Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. The trio will face Fatal Influence in a Six-Woman Tag Team match.
Elsewhere on the card, 14-time World Champion Randy Orton will face 20-year-old high-flying NXT star Je'Von Evans. It will be The Viper's second-ever match on the developmental brand, his first being against Damien Sandow in 2013.
