Cody Rhodes will turn heel when he faces 39-year-old WWE star, says veteran: "They're gonna be done with Cody" (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer recently spoke about a possible heel turn for Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare is currently the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Cody defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL to win the Undisputed title. Since then, he has been a fighting champion, putting up impressive title defenses against the likes of AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Solo Sikoa, and Logan Paul.

On the latest episode of BroDown, Vince Russo mentioned that WWE might finally turn Cody Rhodes heel when he faces Roman Reigns. He claimed that fans might be leaning towards the Original Tribal Chief the next time the two stars cross paths.

"When he finally gets in the ring with Roman, they're gonna be done with Cody. And now it's time for Roman again, and that's when they're just gonna turn Cody heel."

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes successfully put their differences aside at Bad Blood and defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The 39-year-old WWE star has been occupied with taking down The Bloodline while Cody has been gearing up for a challenge against Gunther to win the Crown Jewel Championship.

It will be interesting to see when the two megastars cross paths again.
