WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has become one of the most loved babyfaces in the company’s history. While his good character is evident in his storylines, it is also visible in his unscripted actions where he is often seen hyping fellow superstars. Maintaining this consistency, The American Nightmare recently praised a former Bloodline member ahead of Money in the Bank.

While Sami Zayn entertains the crowd with his segments, he also has a flair for comedy. The WWE Intercontinental Champion delivered a comedy show in partnership with Netflix is a Joke at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on July 4, 2024. Giving his take on Zayn’s performance, Cody Rhodes posted a tweet on X.

“So amazed by @SamiZayn and his performance tonight at the @TheDanforthMH Excited to be on @morningshowca tomorrow morning! 📺 Great start to #MITB weekend,” wrote Rhodes.

Notably, Sami Zayn performed for his home crowd just two days away from facing a major title match against Bron Breakker. Interestingly, while Rhodes had praises for the former Bloodline member, he harbors pure hostility for the faction. In fact, the police had to be called to stop The American Nightmare from lashing out at The Bloodline and security.

When cops got involved to stop Cody Rhodes at Madison Square Garden

The June 28, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown held the show in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The show began with The Bloodline making its way to the arena, only to be attacked by Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. To stop things, Nick Aldis called the security personnel of WWE. However, Rhodes and R-KO went rogue and neutralized the security as well.

Eventually, the NYPD was called to stop The American Nightmare from causing more damage.

Now, Rhodes will be teaming up with The Prizefighter and The Viper to take on The Bloodline in a tag team match at MITB. The heel faction has four members and Wiseman Paul Heyman won’t be there to stop the barbarism of Solo Sikoa. It will be interesting to see how The American Nightmare emerges from this situation.
