WWE Bad Blood opened with a brutal Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. The veteran superstars used numerous weapons in the special edition of WWE's trademark match. After McIntyre revealed gruesome injuries from the Cell, Punk has just had accusations of being unsafe hurled his way.

Ryback and The Straight Edge Superstar shared the World Wrestling Entertainment ring around 45 times. Their heated rivalry from 2012-2013 included two Hell in a Cell matches. Punk ended Ryback's 38-match winning streak and retained the WWE Championship inside the Cell at the 2012 Hell in a Cell PLE, thanks to referee Brad Maddox. He then defeated Ryback and Paul Heyman in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match inside the Cell the following year at the same PLE.

While he has largely stayed away from the sport, the former Skip Sheffield has remained vocal on social media, and Punk has been the subject of his jabs in the past. The Big Guy took to X today with a response to the staples needed to close a wound on The Scottish Psychopath's head after Bad Blood.

Ryback did not name Punk, but he accused McIntyre's opponent of being "beyond reckless" and "very dangerous" in the ring.

"I’ve never done this or anything close to this to any of my opponents. I would say whoever did this to him is beyond reckless and very dangerous to work with," Ryback wrote.

Punk and McIntyre have not responded to Ryback as of this writing. The one-time Intercontinental Champion began his WWE journey in October 2004 with season four of Tough Enough and was with the company until his release on August 8, 2016.

New rivalries expected for WWE RAW

World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Monday for the post-Bad Blood edition of RAW. It remains to be seen if hometown star Randy Orton will make an appearance.

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are expected to begin new feuds soon, along with others who had rivalry pay-offs at Bad Blood. While McIntyre is being advertised by the company's website and the arena, Punk is not. Below is the updated RAW lineup:

  1. Seth Rollins will appear
  2. Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook: Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne
  3. Intercontinental Championship Match: Jey Uso (c) vs. Xavier Woods
  4. World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn

Seth Rollins was just announced for RAW this evening. Adam Pearce noted that The Visionary will likely have something to say about last week's surprise return and attack on Bronson Reed.
