It took a while for Bron Breakker to make it to WWE's main roster, but once he did, there was no doubt in anybody's mind that the former NXT Champion would be the future of World Wrestling Entertainment. He came in like a wrecking ball, steamrolling through the roster, and has now arrived at a shot at winning gold for the first time on the main roster.

Although his challenge at SummerSlam is to dethrone Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, Breakker did not hesitate to issue a massive challenge to WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet ahead of his title clash, Bron Breakker reflected on the October 10, 2023, episode of NXT, as this was the night he got to tussle, albeit only briefly, with The Deadman. The former NXT Champion was chokeslammed by the legendary wrestler in the closing moments of the show.

"Nobody really knew he was coming. So that was like a game-time thing out there. So a lot of the stuff you guys were seeing was organic, legitimate reactions. I loved it, man. It was super fun just to be a part of that with him. It's Undertaker, you know? Just being in the same ring as him is a huge, huge deal." [From 4:05 to 4:30]

It was a rare appearance by The Undertaker, who retired from in-ring competition in 2020. However, Breakker is among the many wrestlers who believe The Phenom has one more match in him.

"I think he's still got it. So, if you want one more, you know where to find me." [From 4:39 to 4:48]

Bron Breakker wants to earn the respect of WWE fans

Bron Breakker suffered a loss at the hands of Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank. But that did not stop him from continuing his chase for gold. His uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, recently claimed that The Underdog from the Underground cheated to win against him, although Zayn won fair and square.

While speaking on The Masked Man Show a few weeks ago, the Steiner descendant opened up about his mentality in WWE:

"My mentality is to earn these people’s respect, that I belong up here, and not only do I belong, but I can be a main player here for a very long time. So that’s my mindset going forward on the main roster. My goal is to be a top guy in the future and to just carry the brand," Breakker said.

The logical first step WWE could take is to have Bron Breakker go over Sami Zayn. Wrestling veteran Vince Russo echoed this sentiment recently.
