Bianca Belair makes major WWE SmackDown announcement

WWE Superstars Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill reclaimed the Women’s Tag Team Championship at Bash in Berlin. The second run of the powerhouse duo has seen them fight several opponents across all three brands of the company. Continuing the pattern, Belair recently made a major announcement for this week’s episode of SmackDown.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cagill appeared on NXT this week to fight Fatal Influence alongside Kelani Jordan. Notably, the heel faction planned to overpower the NXT Women’s North American Champion last week. Jordan had the tag team champs watching her back, resulting in an official match this week.

The trio walked away with a dominating victory over Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henly, and Jazmyn Nyx. However, their night wasn’t over as they met Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson backstage. The Meta-Four members spoke about their desire to hold the titles of Belair and Cargill. Hyped by her win moments ago, The EST of WWE invited Legend and Jackson to SmackDown and said that a title match was on.

Notably, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair already have a title match scheduled against Damage CTRL’s Kairi Sane and IYO SKY next week on RAW. Thus, a title defense against The Meta-Four would mean three back-to-back grueling matches for the champions this week.

It would be interesting to see if Belair’s confidence lets her team retain their titles in both main roster matches.
