SmackDown star Bayley recently took to social media to send a one-word message after a new WWE champion was crowned at 2024 NXT Heatwave. The name in question is Ethan Page.
After leaving AEW, Page made a surprise appearance on the May 28, 2024, edition of the developmental brand, where he attacked Trick Williams. After this, he confirmed that he had signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
At Heatwave, the 34-year-old locked horns with Shawn Spears, Je'Von Evans, and Trick Williams for the NXT Championship. The stars showcased their amazing talents inside the squared circle, and the match surprisingly ended in Ethan Page's favor with a weird climax.
Following the show, WWE Women's Champion Bayley took to X/Twitter to send a one-word message to Ethan Page, congratulating the latter on his huge win.
"[Ethan Page] congrats!!" she wrote.

Ethan Page talked about the difference between AEW and WWE
During an interview with Talk'n Shop, Ethan Page said that his time in AEW was chaotic and unorganized but mentioned that WWE has been completely different for him as the people in the Stamford-based promotion care about his success in professional wrestling.
"I went from somewhere that was so chaotic and unorganized to a place that, I mean I’m still learning because I’m still so new here, but this is a machine and it’s incredible. It feels good to not feel like I have to do everything myself. To have people that want to see me succeed is kind of mind-blowing."
Shawn Michaels has put a lot of faith in Ethan Page in such a short time. It will be interesting to see what The Heartbreak Kid has planned for Page's future as the NXT Champion.
