Bayley sends heartfelt message on WWE anniversary 

Bayley sent a heartfelt message to the WWE Universe ahead of the upcoming edition of SmackDown. Tonight's show will air live from the Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

The Role Model celebrated a WWE anniversary today. Five years ago, the veteran destroyed her Bayley Buddies on the entrance ramp and turned heel. The former champion took to social media to send a heartfelt message to fans on the anniversary of her heel turn.

"Thanks for riding with me ❤️," she wrote.

The SmackDown star was betrayed by Damage CTRL but got her revenge by capturing the WWE Women's Championship from IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL. She had an impressive title reign but was dethroned by Nia Jax at SummerSlam earlier this year.

The 35-year-old battled Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship this past Saturday at Bad Blood but came up short. Tiffany Stratton teased cashing in her Money in the Bank contract during the title match as well.

Former WWE writer claims SmackDown star is more valuable than Bayley

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently suggested that Chelsea Green was more valuable to the company than Bayley at present.

Chelsea Green lost to Michin last week in a Dumpster Match on SmackDown. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown on Backstage Pass, Russo stated he was a huge fan of Green. The veteran added that he would have put a title on her several months ago if it were up to him. The legend also claimed that the 30-year-old was several times more valuable than Bayley on the roster currently.

"I love Chelsea Green. Chelsea Green is as entertaining as they come. I think I could watch Chelsea Green all day. Umm, this was a perfect match for her to sell the dumpster and getting dumped in the dumpster. This really brought up Michin, this was entertaining. You know Mac, if I was there I would've put that belt on Chelsea Green months and months and months ago. I'm hoping they think she doesn't need the belt because she is so entertaining and she doesn't need a belt. That's what I'm hoping but my god, you know, after this, we see Bayley and Nia Jax stuff in the ring, and to me, Chelsea Green's worth on this roster is 10 times that of Bayley," he said.
