Bayley makes surprising request to Nick Aldis following major WWE RAW announcement

WWE Women's Champion Bayley has made an interesting request to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. She reached out to Aldis on social media today following a major announcement from RAW GM Adam Pearce.

Becky Lynch defended the Women's World Championship against Liv Morgan at King and Queen of the Ring. Dominik Mysterio got involved in the match, and it cost The Man the title. Pearce announced that Morgan will be defending the title against Lynch in a Steel Cage match in tonight's main event.

Bayley reposted Pearce's announcement and requested that Nick Aldis book her in a Steel Cage match against Piper Niven.

"Hey @RealNickAldis , I’ll take a steel cage match with @PiperNivenWWE too. Thanks dawg," she wrote.

The Role Model captured the WWE Women's Championship by defeating Iyo Sky at WrestleMania XL. Bayley and Sky were once stablemates in Damage CTRL, but the heel faction turned their back on the veteran after she won the Women's Royal Rumble match in January.

Bayley picks a winner in a hypothetical match between two popular WWE stars

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions after defeating the Kabuki Warriors earlier this month at Backlash. Bayley was recently asked who would win in a match between the Women's Tag Team Champions and picked The EST.

Speaking with Bill Apter in an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling last month, the 34-year-old predicted Bianca Belair would defeat Jade Cargill in a singles match. She noted that Belair has more experience and added that she likely learned a lot from their rivalries in WWE over the years.

"If that match happens, I'm gonna have to go with Bianca, and that's only because she had so many matches with me. She's learned from the best! She, in the end, has more experience than Jade Cargill right now, and maybe that doesn't happen in a couple of years from now [compared to] if that match were to happen today. But I'm gonna have to go with The EST." [3:07 – 3:28]

Bayley picked up a victory over Chelsea Green this past Friday night on SmackDown. It will be interesting to see if Nick Aldis decides to book the champion in a Steel Cage match against Piper Niven on WWE SmackDown in the weeks ahead.
