Baron Corbin managed to take a shot and praise a WWE superstar ahead of tonight's Bash in Berlin. Corbin doesn't see eye-to-eye with Drew McIntyre because of their history, but he also praised his former rival's journey back to the biggest wrestling company in the world.

The Lone Wolf faced McIntyre at WrestleMania 38 at the height of the former's Happy Corbin character. The Scottish Warrior made history during the match when he became the first superstar to kick out of the End of Days finisher, while also beating him at the event.

In an interview with Jamal Niaz of Seconds Out, Corbin discussed his rivalry with McIntyre, as well as their parallel career journeys. He admitted that he still "can't stand" the former WWE Champion although he can't take away anything from the journey he has taken since returning to the company in 2017.

"Drew unfortunately left the company for a little while and came back to NXT. But then became NXT champion and I think it proved what kind of superstar he is. I still can't stand him, but he is amazing at the things he's accomplished and the things that he's doing over on Raw now. You can see what he's mixed up. He's on TV every week. Him and Punk are going at it. I think they're telling a great story of their hatred of each other," Corbin said. [1:33 - 1:58]

Baron Corbin is back on the main roster after a stint in NXT and is currently on SmackDown. Corbin has not received a push as a singles wrestler since returning but he's in a tag team with Apollo Crews.

Bron Breakker hoping to reunite with Baron Corbin on the main roster

During Baron Corbin's time in NXT, he had a rivalry with Bron Breakker that eventually led to mutual respect and ended with an NXT Tag Team Championship run as The Wolf Dogs. Breakker, who is the current Intercontinental Champion, is looking to reunite with his former tag team partner and defend his title against him.

"We had a good time. ... I hope we circle back around to it eventually, maybe one day. That's always something we can do that’s gonna work for sure. So, we'll see. I hope so. I think that makes for a great story, right? (Defending his title against Corbin). I think I would enjoy that, I think he would enjoy that. I think it would elevate both of us so, I don’t know," Breakker said at Fanatics Fest. (H/T POST Wrestling)

For the former NXT Tag Team Champions to reunite, one will need to get drafted to the other brand since Bron Breakker is on RAW and Baron Corbin is on SmackDown.
