Many fans have pointed out that Karrion Kross has brilliantly taken the role of being the "devil on the shoulder" for multiple people, such as Xavier Woods and The Miz. After succeeding with The Miz, Kross is now trying to turn a beloved legend heel.

Although Karrion Kross didn't necessarily "win" his feud with Xavier Woods, his impact on him has been undeniable as Woods has been spiraling every week. With The Miz, it most definitely worked as the WWE legend turned on his partner, the 52-year-old R-Truth, last week.

When The Miz and Karrion Kross were interacting this week backstage, the legend made it clear that it wasn't Kross who influenced him and that he isn't a part of The Final Testament. Still, there was a tone in his voice that suggested that Kross was, in fact, influential. When R-Truth came in to confront The Miz, he was shocked to learn that his now-ex-partner was serious when he turned on him.

When Truth tried being his usual, comedic self, Karrion Kross slammed him and told him that it would be the only thing he would ever be remembered for—planting the seeds in his head in an attempt to turn him heel.

It will be interesting to see how things play out. Although Kross hasn't been on the winning end of his feuds and several matches, the fact remains that he has been an influential figure backstage to some names.

It seems to be a role that he's thriving in, and we're going to have to see what the future holds.

A match between R-Truth and The Miz was set up for next week.
