WWE Bad Blood is set to kick off in just over 24 hours. Several superstars are looking for the pay-off to their various rivalries and feuds, and now there's a clear word on one key storyline that is finally coming to an end. Adam Pearce himself has just revealed a sneak peek at what to expect from two of the biggest names on RAW.

The return of WWE Bad Blood is set to coincide with the 27th anniversary of the inaugural event, which was headlined by the first-ever Hell in a Cell Match featuring Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. To celebrate, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will take their issues inside the treacherous cell on Saturday, October 5.

The heated rivalry began when McIntyre injured Punk at the Royal Rumble earlier this year. However, their first singles match did not happen until SummerSlam in early August, with the Scottish Warrior picking up the victory. The Second City Saint got a win back at Bash in Berlin in a Strap Match.

The RAW General Manager has pushed McIntyre vs. Punk more than others. He took to his Instagram account to share a photo from the red brand, showing him with security, inside Hell in a Cell. He wrote a caption that appears to indicate a brutal end to the Punk vs. McIntyre rivalry.

"They will go to war inside this unforgiving steel, and after Saturday the war will end. Because it has to," Adam Pearce wrote.

The RAW General Manager then reshared the post as an Instagram story along with two lines from Michael Jackson's superhit song, 'Thriller,' as an ominous spoiler on what's to come.

"Darkness falls across the land, The midnight hour is soon as hand," Adam Pearce wrote.

Punk's next feud is still up in the air, but his next match will be his sixth since returning to WWE. He defeated Dominik Mysterio at two non-televised live events in December, suffered an injury in the Royal Rumble, returned for the loss to Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam on August 3, and won the Strap Match over The Scottish Warrior at Bash in Berlin a month ago.

WWE Bad Blood finalized lineup

WWE is bringing back the 'Bad Blood' name for Saturday's premium live event at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. This will be the fourth edition of the extravaganza, but the first since 2004.

Officials currently have five matches confirmed for Bad Blood and despite rumors, it does not appear a sixth match will be added to break a recent trend. Below is the updated lineup:

  1. Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest;
  2. Women's Championship Match: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley;
  3. Women's World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley (Dominik Mysterio will be above the ring in a shark cage);
  4. Hell in a Cell Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre;
  5. Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
